I have always loved the way a scent can tell a story—like the aroma of a delicious meal waiting for my children when they came home. I wanted to capture that same sense of comfort and safety in a candle, but I refused to compromise on health. Alongside my son and co-owner, Ethan, I turned our workspace into a laboratory of beakers, pipettes, and oils. Through years of trial and error, we perfected a blend of natural waxes and toxin-free oils that burn beautifully and safely. This was a labor of love, born from a desire to create a "clean burn" that honors your sanctuary.

Kim discovered that true beauty is deeply connected to how we feel in our environment, leading her to spend years researching and testing toxin-free components to create the perfect clean-burning candle. From the meticulous blending of essential oils to the final selection of each note, Kim’s craftsmanship ensures that every vessel provides a physical anchor to help you leave the chaos behind and reclaim your peace.

As the Artistic Director and Visual Captain of Atmosphere, Ethan is the creative architect behind the brand’s aesthetic identity. Bringing his expertise as a high-end hair artist and professional photographer, he oversees every visual touchpoint of the Atmosphere line—from the composition of each image to the native storytelling found within our collections. Ethan’s deep understanding of color theory and chemical composition was instrumental in translating the abstract concepts of "Sanctuary" and "Silhouette" into physical, aromatic experiences.
